We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher to join our team at a secondary school on the border between Essex and Suffolk. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and be committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Marking and assessing student work to ensure progress is being made.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the English curriculum.
- Providing support to students who require additional help with their studies.
- Attending parent-teacher meetings and other school events as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
