Daily rate: £120 – £190 per day
A fantastic secondary school in Ipswich is currently looking for a Teacher of English to join their team from April 2021 for the remainder of the academic year.

The school are looking for a part time English teacher, working 2 days per week. This role will start after the Easter holidays and continue through the remainder of the academic year.
They are ideally looking for someone with Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching English to Key Stages 3 and 4. They would like someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding lessons and keeping the pupils engaged. You must be prepared to immerse yourself in to school life and take on all aspects of teaching, including planning, marking, meetings and parents evenings and in return the school will pay to scale.
The English Literature curriculum covers Poetry, Drama and Victorian as well as modern texts. In English Language, they aim to develop reading and analytical skills whilst learning to write in various genres. They aim to promote speaking and listening skills and support independent reading.
