Vacancy: Graduate Cover Supervisor Norwich – required ASAP
4myschools are currently recruiting for a number of secondary schools based in Norwich and the surrounding areas. We are looking for secondary Cover Supervisors to provide general cover in a number of schools throughout the area.
There are also opportunities available for the right candidate with no/minimal experience working with children to shadow an experienced member of staff in a school, in a voluntary capacity to gain experience working in this environment.

What is the Graduate Cover Supervisor role:
· Supervising pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence.
· The cover supervisor’s main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
·Managing children’s behaviour whilst in the classroom
·Acting as a role model!
What the successfully appointed Graduate Cover Supervisor will have:
·The successful candidate will hold a degree level qualification but must hold a minimum Grade 4 (C) or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level
·A pro-active and can do attitude with willingness to work in a team
·A positive approach to classroom management helping to create a positive learning environment
·Experience working or volunteering with children in an educational capacity or external organisation such as scout groups etc
·Right to work in the UK
·A valid child workforce enhanced DBS (please note you can apply for this through 4myschools, and you may be able to get this funded)
