We are currently assisting a school in their search for a History teacher to join the school from January 2022.  The school is located near to the Essex, Suffolk boarder and is a short commute from either South Suffolk or North Essex. The School are looking for a full time teacher who can teach History to Key Stages 3 and 4.  They would like someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding lessons and keeping the pupils engaged.  You must be prepared to immerse yourself in to school life and take on all aspects of teaching, including planning, marking, meetings and parents evenings.

The school has a strong vision to inspire every student, regardless of background or need and strive for their students to make outstanding academic progress.  The school itself was last graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last observation and aim to improve this further.

What is expected of you?

· To be a supportive and encouraging teacher with a great work ethic.

· A sound understanding of teaching History to KS3 and 4

· Able to engage students in each and every lesson.

· Hold QTS

Therefore, wherever possible will pay to scale ensuring that we meet Agency Worker Regulations after 12 weeks with a school.  You receive your pay a week in arrears, receiving an online payslip with a weekly pay showing your HMRC deductions and holiday pay breakdown.
