KS2 Primary Teacher Borehamwood

Full time KS2 Primary Teacher Borehamwood  – 1 year contract

Vacancy Details: Full-time Year 5 Class Teacher – £125 – £190 per day

Required: September 2022 – July 2023

We are working with a one form entry school with an Ofsted rating of GOOD school, located in Borehamwood, that are in need of a full-time Year 5 class teacher to cover a 1 year contract.

The school are looking for a teacher to join their experienced and dedicated team from September 2022 until July 2023.  The role would include full class responsibility including planning, marking and staff meetings.

The school is a very welcoming school with a ‘friendly feel’.  It is located in a pleasant setting with spacious grassed areas, a playing field and conservation area.

The school is supported by its parent community with high expectations being set both in and out of the classroom. The parents and children are very fond of their school and speak highly of the teachers and environment.

The school are looking for a likeminded individual who will engage the children with stimulating lesson activities and create a rich learning environment that sparks interest and questions. They are looking for someone with a positive outlook who can set high standards and communicate them clearly with the children.

As the ideal teacher, you will;

  • Have a clear vision and proven track record of commitment to children in KS2
  • Show initiative and understanding.
  • Be flexible, patient and engaging.
  • Have excellent communications skills.
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Be able to engage and motivate children to learn.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, pupils, and staff.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications.
  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
