The successful candidate will work closely with staff, students and parents and focus on raising attendance, attainment, improved behaviour and well-being of individual students.
A pastoral manager will be contributing to the management of the pastoral systems in school, as well as supporting the Guidance Team with attendance and behaviour.
The successful pastoral manager will also be a Designated Safeguarding Lead and work as part of the Safeguarding Team under the direction of the Senior Designated Lead.
While pastoral experience will be an advantage a wide range of training will be made available. The school welcomes applications from candidates who are capable of dealing with sensitive and confidential issues and have the ability to relate to young people, parents and staff.
