What is the Primary Teaching Assistant role:

·Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

·Supporting the class Teacher by working with all children in the classroom to provide them support on their work and tasks

·Running Intervention groups when needed for Maths, English and Phonics

·Acting as a role model!

 

What the successfully appointed Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

·Grade 4 (C) or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level

·A pro-active and can do attitude with willingness to work in a team

·A positive approach to classroom management helping to create a positive learning environment

·Experience working or volunteering with children in an educational capacity or external organisation such as scout groups etc

·Right to work in the UK

·A valid child workforce enhanced DBS (please note you can apply for this through 4myschools)
