Job Description

SEN D&T Teacher Thetford Norfolk

Vacancy: SEN D&T Teacher Thetford Norfolk – Part time 4 days a week Monday – Thursday

4myschools are working with a SEN school in the Thetford area to help with their recruitment for a Design and Technology Teacher. The right candidate will be teaching years 7-11 of groups of 8-10 pupils in each class.

The school is  a co-educational school for 40 pupils KS3 & 4 from Y7-11. It is for pupils whose primary SEN is clearly identified as SEMH and have an EHCP. It prioritises places for those pupils who do not have a current long-term school place (PEX/CME). The school is situated near the town of Thetford on the Norfolk-Suffolk border and as such, the school the school commissions places from both counties.

Are you a Design and Technology specialist looking for work in the Thetford?

  • Are you confident covering Design and Technology within a specialist division?
  • Have you experience teaching in D&T?
  • Are you looking for a long term/permanent placement?

This is on a daily supply basis, working from one day a week, up to 5 days a week depending on your availability. This could also lead to long term and permanent positions if you are looking for opportunities. The schools range from small schools through to larger than average schools.

As the ideal Design and Technology you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or have either UK or UK ENIC recognised Teaching Qualifications plus UK experience
  • Demonstrate positive behaviour management strategies
  • Be flexible and reliable
  • Be prepared for every day to be entirely different to the last!
