Required April 2023, I am working with a primary school in the Brentwood area who are looking for a Part-Time SENCO for any 3 days per week to join their friendly and supportive team.
The Primary school is in the Brentwood area, the school is extremely popular with our teachers and support staff. The school are looking for an ambitious, inspiring professional with the skills, drive and determination to help ensure that all pupils are able to thrive.
You will need to hold the SENCO qualification; previous SENCO experience is not essential. The role is non class based and they are happy for any 3 days each week. The role is initially for the summer term, with a potential for a permanent position. This role is paid to scale from the outset plus London Fringe Allowance.
The successful candidate will:
. achieved the National SENCO qualification
· have a passion for learning and inclusion
· be able to work effectively within a dedicated team
· communicate well with children, parents and colleagues
· have a good understanding of successful approaches and interventions to support pupil progress
· have an up to date knowledge of the new SEN Framework and Code of Practice
· have good organisational skills and be able to manage the work of others
