A Colchester based primary school are looking for a SEND LSA to join their team from September 2022 and provide 1:1 support.
As a SEND LSA, you will be working with a child with ASD and mild cerebral palsy. Previous experience and knowledge of these two conditions, and some strategies to encourage their on-going development, is essential for this role.
You will be working closely with the class teacher, SENDCO and outside professionals to ensure the needs of the child are being meet and positively challenged.
For this position you will need:
- A valid enhanced DBS
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A positive approach and a passion for working with children
This position is to work full time, term time only and is a temp-to-perm opportunity. This means that this position will start on a long-term supply basis and become a permanent job at the school from around January 2023.

You will have a dedicated local consultant who has an in depth understanding of the schools in your area. You are supported by a fantastic team who are here to meet your needs every step of the way. 4myschools operates a full out of hours service and our office is open from 7am to 5:30pm.
We will always treat you as a valued member of the 4myschools team. We pay fairly and transparently and you have a choice of how you would like to be paid. This includes our PAYE, with no weekly fee’s or employers tax costs passed onto you! Wherever possible will pay to scale, and ensuring that we meet Agency Worker Regulations after 12 weeks with a school. You receive your pay a week in arrears, receiving an online payslip with a weekly pay showing your HMRC deductions and holiday pay breakdown.
