Teaching Assistant Cromer Norfolk
We are currently working with a small Primary school in the Cromer area who are looking for a Part time Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to join their team from February 2023. You will be working with a small group of children with SEND and behavioural needs.
The role is to start from February 2023 Wednesday – Friday 3 days per week, term time only until July 2023.
The school is a friendly, welcoming place and is well liked by our teachers and support staff.
The ideal applicant
- Will have experience of working within a primary school environment or a Nursery EYFS setting is preferable but not essential.
- Ideally have experience with Early Years
- Has the ability to develop strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Creative, patient, empathic and adaptable
- Ideally a have TA/LSA qualification or equivalent or a graduate (not essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children is essential
- A DBS or willingness to obtain one (we can do this for you)
The role
- The position is to work in a mainstream primary school on a part time basis long term
- You will be working with pupils on an individual basis and in a group setting
- Setting up the classroom in preparation for the pupils arriving
- Communicating with the The then pleacher/SENCO effectively
